Your Obsidian vault and notes never pass through us.

The short version. Liefwork for Obsidian runs on your own device and works alongside the terminal-based AI agents you already use (such as Claude Code or Codex). Your Obsidian vault and note content never pass through us — we don't collect, store, receive, or transmit it. This policy covers only our waitlist email list and visitors to liefwork.com.

1. Who we are (Data Controller). The data controller is Phigram, a sole-trader business (ατομική επιχείρηση) established in Athens, Greece and the publisher of Liefwork (ΑΦΜ/VAT: EL142939055). Contact: info@liefwork.com; our registered postal address is available on request.

2. The most important point: we do not process your notes. Liefwork is a client-side Obsidian plugin that runs on your own device. It's designed to help you work with the terminal-based AI agents you run yourself — such as Claude Code or Codex — which operate on your own machine, under your own accounts with those providers. Your Obsidian vault and note content never pass through us. Any AI agent you use processes your data under your own agreement with that provider, not ours. This Policy therefore covers only (a) our waitlist / marketing email list, and (b) visitors to liefwork.com.

3. What we collect and why.

• Email address (and name, if given) — when you join the waitlist — lawful basis: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
• Website analytics (aggregate, cookieless — pages, referrer, country) — when you visit liefwork.com — lawful basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)); no cookies, no individual tracking.
• Purchase data (email, amount, country, license key) — when you buy the plugin — handled by our Merchant-of-Record (§5); contract.

We do not collect or process any data from your Obsidian vault or note content whatsoever (see §2).

4. The waitlist (marketing emails). Explicit, unbundled, opt-in consent + double opt-in. Used solely for Liefwork launch and product updates. One-click unsubscribe in every email; withdraw consent anytime. Unconfirmed sign-ups pruned after ~30–60 days.

5. Who we share data with (processors). Each under a Data Processing Agreement:

• MailerLite (MailerLite UAB, Lithuania, EU) — email list management and consent logging.
• Plausible Analytics — cookieless, privacy-friendly website analytics.
• Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC) — our Merchant-of-Record / seller of record for purchases (payment, receipts, VAT).

We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers. MailerLite (Lithuania) and Plausible (EU-hosted) keep data within the EEA. Lemon Squeezy (US) may process purchase data outside the EEA; where data is transferred outside the EEA it is protected by appropriate safeguards — Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Retention. Waitlist email: until unsubscribe/deletion (unconfirmed pruned ~30–60 days). Analytics: aggregate only, per Plausible's settings. Purchase records: retained by Lemon Squeezy and by us as required by Greek tax/accounting law.

8. Your rights. Access, rectify, erase, restrict, port; withdraw consent; object. Contact info@liefwork.com or use the unsubscribe link. Right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

9. Cookies. Cookieless analytics (Plausible); no non-essential/tracking cookies, so no consent banner required.

10. Changes. We may update this Policy; the "last updated" date reflects the latest version.
