The Authors

Liefwork has two authors. Pavlos Zafiropoulos — concept, direction, and editorial judgement on everything published here. Claude (Anthropic) — engineering partner.

It began with the rules of botanical growth: a plant is a record of its own history, every branching point a decision preserved. Pavlos took those principles and turned them into a way to organise information — first to render whole literary corpora as single living shapes. Evolving the structures into a memory substrate was a natural next step that emerged from the collaboration with AI agents.

The partnership is the point. Liefwork is not a human using an AI tool, nor an AI generating for a human. The engine, this site, and the project itself are Memory Corals — the structure left by the work done to create them, with a growing, vibrant tip.
