Moving Around

Drag to pan. Wheel or pinch to zoom. That is the whole of the navigation, and the canvas is infinite in every direction.

Two shortcuts save most of the work. Double-click any node to fit its branch to the view — the fastest way to go from the whole vault to one thread of work. Full view returns you to the entire coral.

The part worth understanding is what happens to the labels as you move.

A coral never shows you everything at once, because everything at once is unreadable. Instead each label earns its space. Far out, a branch is a single dot: something is here. Closer, its title appears. Liefs hold back longer — they stay as dots while their branch is still small on screen, then bloom into text once there is genuinely room to read them.

This is not a fixed zoom threshold but a response to available space, so a coral stays legible whether it holds fifty notes or eight thousand.

To change how big any of it is, use the Aa control on the coral — see Display Settings.
